The Day After
I’m not quite sure what to write here. I can tell you that it was a good show. I was in good company. I made some sales, met some people, and got me another tick on the resume. More shows will be done. I assure not only you, but myself.
If my tone seems muted, it is. I’m tired. Worn out on socializing, from the dizzying expectations of the show, from the disruptions in schedule, sleep stuff, assembling then disassembling showcases; I’m just exhausted.
Today will be allocated to recovery. I’m going to veg out like no other. As best I can without alcohol or excess food. I do have a mandatory work meeting to attend, I am not thrilled with that, but I will try to make it worth my while. Then, tomorrow, work again and start sifting for opportunities.
